After dark.

Shot this during the wee hours of Saturday morning, circa 2am.

Bloody dark, bloody cold, and bloody scary. King's Park at night with no one but your camera for company? Not fun. I couldn't bloody see more than five metres in front of my face. I almost jumped a couple of times when people walked by.

Yes, random people walk by at 2am!

I like looking at the Perth city skyline late at night. Something about all the lights makes it so damn pretty. And the clear night skies, that's something you won't get back in Singapore.

That said, I do miss home.

aaahhhh....

Long shutters... its always fun to take night scenes !!

Anyway, try going a little earlier next time, during weekdays.. say, 8-9pm... when more lights on the buildings are still on.

But i gotta admit, going there at nite is scary. Imagine me walking all the way up from where i used to stay in nedlands... alone...

and all the way back.. after the shooting...

the crazy things i did to take pictures LOL

haha. you're not the first person to say that lah! one of my friends also suggested shooting over the transition from daylight to darkness.

I'll definitely try shooting earlier lah. the 2am was just a random drive-by shooting though! completely not planned!

and wah. that's damn scary lah! walking all the way back by yourself. grr.
